Description

As an Associate Director in the Advisory - Data & Analytics, you will join a fast-growing team and will have an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the growth and maturity of our clients in the GCC region.

You will be responsible for understanding the various solutions that KPMG has in its portfolio and implementing them at various clients across multiple sectors. Further, you will also be required to architect and deploy customized solutions for Clients. Solutions will largely revolve around Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities:

You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities would include: -

Actively support the Partner/ Director in working on business development in identifying and converting new opportunities across Technology advisory & implementation.

Contributes to the development of case studies, proposals, deliverables, or other valuable engagement knowledge

Drive incremental revenue growth through expansion or renewals of work

Responsible for guiding the successful delivery of the engagements ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer's satisfaction

Be disciplined in business management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network; meet delivery targets and operational standards

Converting business requirements from the Client into technical aspects for development teams

Managing large development projects, client expectations, and communication

Preparing project plans and design solution architecture (when required)

Requirement gathering and understanding - most important attribute is to understand Client's needs, business, processes, and technology ecosystem to baseline relevant solutions

Solution design - ability to architect / configure solutions that solve critical client problems

Project planning and execution - expertise in building flexible project plans, working with Agile workforce, and delivering work within stipulated timelines

Technology understanding - a developer-by-heart who understands various technologies from Cloud to Open-Source development platforms and databases

Experience & Qualifications:

Candidate must have a strong background in Technology Advisory / Data & Analytics with at least 10 years of relevant experience

Experience with top tier consulting firms (Big 6 preferred)

Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Public Sector and / or Real Estate sectors

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or quantitative field

Strong analytical and cognitive ability

Strong experience in:

Data Governance (Informatica/IBM/Collibra/Purview/ Alation/ Others)

Big data (Hadoop, Map reduce, HDFS, Apache spark, Kafka, pig, hive, impala, DevOps, SparkML etc.

Experience in Data visualization tools, SQL server databases (including queries), NoSQL databases, and concepts

Predictive analytics and ML algorithms, techniques, and tools

Cloud technology (Azure/AWS/Google/others)

Excellent English communication skills (must) and Arabic speaking proficiency (preferred)

People oriented and must have led medium to large teams with strong background in leading complex engagements
