The Team
Our clients are operating in a constantly evolving complex environments and seek advisors that can make a noticeable impact on their strategic agendas. A&M’s Regional Corporate Finance team sits at the center of the client agenda advising on acquisitions, divestitures, privatizations, joint ventures portfolio optimization, capital structure, capital raising & capital markets, valuations.
We are looking for Associate Director to join the team based in Dubai and drive its growth and penetration in our chosen industries and work with the most demanding clients at the senior management level throughout the transaction lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to build on your existing skills and industry focus by working alongside very experienced transactors on complex regional and cross border transactions across a range of industries including TMT, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare & Lifesciences, Financial Services, Energy, and Diversified Industrials.

The Role
The key elements of the role are:
Transaction origination and execution
  • Be a part of the execution team for Corporate Finance Advisory and M&A mandates taking leadership on key elements.
  • Be a core part of the origination team working across the pitching effort
  • Be a keen multitasker to deliver on demanding timetables
  • Work in close coordination with other teams of A&M within the region and internationally on both origination and execution
    Transaction management
    • Along with the transaction team leader, take ownership of financial modelling and pricing with a focus of bring real world insight to the analysis
    • Lead in the develop of transaction marketing documentation
    • Lead the overall transaction process management (data room, other advisors, and coordination)
    • Support, in conjunction with other client advisors, all transactional documentation
    • Develop leadership in a select number of industries
      The Requirements
      You will be a high-energy individual and must like new challenges with true desire to continue to grow.
      We would expect the successful candidate to bring:
      • Between 5-7 years of relevant experience in either investment banking, private equity, corporate finance boutiques, corporate finance within a commercial bank, or a Big 4 M&A team.
      • a high-grade bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university in business, economics, sciences or a similar discipline. An MBA / CFA / CA / master’s degree from a top-tier university is preferable but not essential
      • willingness to travel to across Middle East and beyond, at short notice
