As a Clinical Informaticist I, you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical department and IT, leveraging both clinical knowledge and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. You will participate and provide clinical input during the application system review, design, development, test, and enhancement of information systems. Your responsibilities will include focusing on clinical utilization and workflow, including patient safety and clinical outcomes as well as research, analysis and making recommendations for application workflow improvements. You will be responsible for establishing trusted relationships with department leaders inside the client organization, collaborating across teams to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and services, as well as ensuring appropriate communication and documentation are completed to support high-quality clinical workflow and application development. Finally, you will assess and analyze the client\'s end-user learning needs to develop and maintain curriculum and tools.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Health Informatics or Nursing or 4 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of Licensed healthcare practice, health informatics, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with Cerner Millennium is advantageous
Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Detailed Description and Job Requirements Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle\'s solutions. Through the use of Oracle\'s implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project\'s targeted outcomes.
Entry-level position that acts as a liaison between the clinical and IT departments, leveraging clinical knowledge specific to a domain expertise (Healthcare, informatics, clinical) to provide innovative solutions. Responsible for applying statistical, research, clinical theories and methods to solve problems. As a member of the team, follows standard practices and procedures to evaluate and analyze data, develop analysis and studies and provide new product offering and innovations to external customer engagements. Work involves using analytical skills sufficient to interpret data/ instructions with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying the relevant customer standards with limited autonomy. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments. Must have knowledge in reference to regulations and standard operating procedures. Maintains a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with domain literature and reports. Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and ability to adjust to changing industry regulatory requirement
Bachelors or Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to area of focus, plus 1 year related work experience. Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including: At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience. Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics/Statistics, Health Care or related field). Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician. Certification Board or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications
