Your Role This Assistant Superintendent role is in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities will include carrying out daily directives of the Superintendent and maintaining an effective and efficient project schedule, production, quality, and costs. The AS supervises and directs subcontractors' and suppliers' progress, quality assurance, production, safety compliance, and managing the project's progress. This position will also develop daily schedules, analyze material use, and document production on the job site.

What You Will Do Schedules subcontractors in proper work sequence and creates a workflow to maximize efficiency Communicates to subcontractors when to begin, expectations of work to be done, and the timeframe in which it is to be complete Walks buildings to ensure subcontractor work is being performed correctly, installed per owner, expectations, and construction documents Verifies building products match approved submittals, subcontracts, and drawings Identifies and communicates materials, work, and long-lead time items that will impact schedule Demonstrates an understanding of what processes proceed others and the impact of each Monitors and drives progress addressing issues before schedule is negatively impacted Produces, communicates, and ensures punch lists are completed in a timely fashion Maintains a high standard of quality control at all times Develops an effective system to execute workflow, punch list completion, and communication to proactively ensure schedule success Assists and communicates with schedule updates Has a good understanding of CPS (critical path scheduling) to assist in scheduling of site under the direction of superintendent Maintains a good relationship with the Project Superintendent, seeking their assistance in the scheduling of materials, equipment, and subcontractors Assists the Superintendent and subcontractors with issues that occur onsite

What You Will Bring Five to ten years of Multifamily construction experience required Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred Must be organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency (reword) Organized individual capable of completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency (reword) Must be organized with a focus on completing tasks to meet or exceed the schedule, while achieving above average quality. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying seniority and teams both inside and outside the organization Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency Excellent multi-tasking skills Demonstrates a positive "can do" demeanor, takes pride in achieving results, and has a self-starter mindset Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills
