Job Title Assistant Store Manager
Description
Ensure the Supermarket section is in line with the visual merchandising & branding guidelines of the company.
Monitor the front end and back door operations, check sufficient orders are placed promptly (by order writers) and co-ordinate with the buyers for right stock and promotional activities.
Ensure to achieve the financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner.
To ensure that all legal & company standards regarding health & safety regulations are vigorously monitored and enforced.
Evaluate sale reports and customer feedback, Control the store inventory and ensuring the maintenance of the standards of goods.
Hold daily meetings with the team to review Supermarket section performance and identify / resolve any issues that may prevent the team from achieving its targets.
Study trends, authorize clearance sales, and also determine all required sales promotions
Review merchandising by formulating pricing policies
Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating statements
Requirements
Bachelor s/ Masters degree or education in Retail Management
Supermarket / Retail/HHypermarker experience/background is MANDATORY.
Strong retail experience in FMCG, Food, Non Food, with GCC experience is mandatory
Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role in store operations, specifically in the hypermarket, supermarket, retail business in UAE/ GCC region
In-depth knowledge of UAE governmental rules and regulations as applicable to retail business
Demonstrated track record of successfully growing a Supermarket business by developing and executing plans.
Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
