To have the complete knowledge of all the events going on in the city.
To have the maximum knowledge for the occupancy status of your competitors in the market.
To make sure that the hotels credit policy is followed properly, not to extend credit to anyone without having approval from the hotel credit department
Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally.
Implements all sales action plans related to the market areas.
Develop and promote product image and awareness by direct mail campaigns and attendance of key travel and tourism tradeshows.
To meet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts.
Work closely with Revenue Manager/in-charge to ensure proposed rate negotiations to achieve the set financial goals.
Analyze and update the current client base as per the current market.
Other responsibilities assigned by the top management.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management would be an asset.
3-4 years of full time experience track record in a sales management and 2 years’ experience in multi property management in the leading international Hospitality industry players.
Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required.
