Assistant Sales Manager (ft)

Job Description

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Targeting new business opportunities.
  • To have the complete knowledge of all the events going on in the city.
  • To have the maximum knowledge for the occupancy status of your competitors in the market.
  • To make sure that the hotels credit policy is followed properly, not to extend credit to anyone without having approval from the hotel credit department
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally.
  • Implements all sales action plans related to the market areas.
  • Develop and promote product image and awareness by direct mail campaigns and attendance of key travel and tourism tradeshows.
  • To meet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts.
  • Work closely with Revenue Manager/in-charge to ensure proposed rate negotiations to achieve the set financial goals.
  • Analyze and update the current client base as per the current market.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by the top management.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management would be an asset.
  • 3-4 years of full time experience track record in a sales management and 2 years’ experience in multi property management in the leading international Hospitality industry players.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required.
