The Assistant Sales Manager will work with the Head of Sales to manage, develop and drive sale sales for the LEGOLAND® Hotel Dubai from International Markets. You are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of LLD Hotel. Also develops strategic action plans for LLD Hotel to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue. Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and build on an account base for the hotel
  • Identify and propose new distribution opportunities for the hotel in International Markets
  • Identify and propose potential new partners that will extend our global reach
  • To recommend sales activities that will grow market performance
  • Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Able to supports the hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales
  • Maintain MICE generating accounts through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, sight inspections, entertainment)
  • Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts, managerial & departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
  • Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets
  • Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible
  • Maintain and update the sales & catering - PMS as per company standards
  • Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies

Health & Safety: Managers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored, and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated. In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a similar position within a comparable hotel/resort/hospitality
  • Proven track record of developing new partnerships focused on driving a measurable increase in hotel bookings.
  • Must have a valid UAE driving license.
