The InterContinental Hotels Group\xc2\xae properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. A little taste of your day-to-day

• Effectively support the manager in the outlet by ensuring the following:

1. Oversee the implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual
2. Adhere to opening and closing procedures
3. Adhere to bill paying procedures
4. Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on upselling certain products; etc
5. Personally meet and farewell a minimum of 80% of your customers
6. Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during all shifts

• Share recommendations and guest comments to Chef and Food and Beverage Manager to reflect current customer profile
• Develop and implement Promotions Calendar for F&B products in the outlet
• Manage special event concepts
• Anticipate market changes and review operations when necessary
• Conduct competitor analysis
• Create positive publicity opportunities
• Manage customer database and utilize effectively
• Up-sell property facilities
• Actively pursue cost saving measures
• Recycle wherever possible
• Manage wage and beverage cost
• Forecasting
• Stock control
• Analyse food and beverage statistics through point of sale system

What we need from you

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, or related field
• At least one year of working experience as a Assistant Outlet Manager in similar operation
• Excellent English communication skills, with additional languages preferred
• Leadership skills
• Ability to think calmly under pressure
• Supervise functions
• Supervise outlet service
• Supervise the maintenance of service equipment.
• Monitor standards of guest facilities and services
• Control stock and monitor security procedures.
• Assist with menu and wine list creation.
• High level of energy and drive to achieve operational and business goal
