A little taste of your day-to-day At the moment we\'re looking for an Bar Manager to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Hotels Dubai Festival City. This role, reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager InterContinental Hotels Dubai Festival City and as the Outlet Bar Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Vista Bar and Terrace you will manage the Restaurant and Bar operations achieving business objectives through customer focused service delivery, promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

• Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
• Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote salesmanship, beverage creativity and profit
• Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
• Delivers daily briefings and attends other Food and Beverage meetings as scheduled
• Delivers prepared training sessions in line with a departmental monthly calender
• Prepares for service operations
• Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
• Requisition bar items according to bar stocks
• Train bar attendant, wait help and bus help in basic beverage knowledge and beverage service
• Complete spillage report and submit to Food and Beverage manager at the Conclusion of each shift
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager to source and review outlet musicians
• Assist to promote the musicians
• Design promotional material which is aimed at increasing revenue, covers and profit for the Bar with the approval of the Food and Beverage Manager

What we need from you Ideally, you\'ll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we\'re looking for:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Hospitality Hotel Administration, or two to four years demonstrable work experience in a leadership role, hotel operations, revenue management, or business excellence.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant/Bar Manager including one year as Bar and Restaurant Manager.
• Poses great leadership skills & excellent communication skills.
• Possess strong organizational, coordination, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• A dynamic team player
