We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager - Underwriting (Property) to be based out of their office in Abu Dhabi.
Purpose-
The job holder is responsible to develop book of Property business in the UAE.
Responsibility-
- Assists Manager in preparation of department\xe2\x80\x99s annual budgets in line with overall services function\xe2\x80\x99s budget and monitors financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs /revenues.
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Conducts Risk analysis as and when required
client. * Ensures confirmation from reinsurers before confirming any commitments to clients.
- Contributes in achieving the department\xe2\x80\x99s target.
- Ensures Quality of service, Ensures Retention of renewals and Ensures Maintenance of Customer Profile
- Analyzing policy wordings, Meeting brokers and clients, Negotiating renewals with clients/ brokers.
Skills
- 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
- Certificate in Insurance (CII), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate or Diploma in Charted Insurance Institute (Dip CII or ACII) or Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) or Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU)or Fellow Insurance Institute of India (FIII).
