Leadership

Manage the effective achievement of the assigned unit's objectives, setting individual objectives, developing training plans, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback and appraisal Enhance core efficiencies and competencies, and leverage technologies to maximize performance and widen the scope of the NOTAM function Lead the continuous improvement to the NOTAM processes, systems and technologies to support the ICAO and National transition from AIS to AIM roadmap in line with the department strategy

NOTAM Operations

Supervise and manage the efficient operation of a 24 hour NOTAM unit Provide the required technical guidance and take decisions to ensure the effective dissemination of NOTAM Ensure compliance and adherence of NOTAM content in accordance with ICAO and National regulations Propose NOTAM safety targets and ensure compliance to satisfy the safety management system requirement Manage and support in conducting quality checks and control of NOTAM prior to dissemination Approval of NOTAM prior to dissemination

Safety, Quality & Audits

Conduct investigation and safety risk assessment including root cause analysis in case of NOTAM errors Develop mitigation plan including corrective and preventive actions Efficient maintenance of the NOTAM database and related NOTAM documentation Initiate, investigate and clarify queries received Contribute in the ANS Aviation Safety Committee Represent AIM in all audits and coordinate the required actions

Aeronautical Information Publication

Supervise the provision of relevant NOTAM information for timely updates into Aeronautical Information Publications Oversee and assign the responsibility for the quality control process of the Aeronautical Information Publications Ensure the proper evaluation of NOTAM impact on the Aeronautical Information Publications

System Requirements

Plan for the required system upgrade requirements considering the developing ICAO and National regulations Define NOTAM related technical system requirements and testing scripts Contribute in the related project discussions and developments

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures

Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant regulatory requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, service to customers Carry out the required NOTAM data conversion processes toward digitalization and automation Develop, document and update procedures, when necessary, for NOTAM operation in line with ICAO and National regulations as well as industry requirements

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement Identify strategic objectives and directions towards AIM system enhancements in fostering the new technology and introducing digital aeronautical information products and services

nowledge and Experiences:

University degree or a license in an aviation discipline with a minimum 5 years experience in a relevant environment.

Technical Training / Certification in Aeronautical Information Management
