This is a mid-level management/technical position for an Assistant Manager, IT Compliance role. As the Assistant Manager, Compliance, you will manage all internal audits, and be the main point of contact for these matters, be responsible for ensuring compliance in all areas of IT, develop user access management standards for all applications not part of the global standard (eg HotSOS and SevenRooms), create and maintain all IT SOPs and manage the change management process. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Tracking and progression of all open audit observations.
Ensure compliance with global standards (if applicable)
Assist and support the business to apply for exemptions to global standards.
Ensure completion of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual checklists.
Identifies opportunities to improve and promotes automation efficiencies.
Ensure backup compliance.
Ensure patch compliance.
Ensure end point compliance (MDM, Trend Micro, Desktop Central, AD, SCCM, Windows 10, etc.)
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Risk analysis.
Ensure all documentation is complete for the change management process (Business UAT Scripts, Sign off and Implementation Plan, rollback etc.)
Ensure change compliance.
Maintain change calendar.
Work with Assistant Manager Service Delivery to ensure change communication compliance.
Train the team on the standard operating procures.
Maintain the configuration management database.
Responsible for security and access controls of all systems, ensure complete documentation and business sign off.
About you We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, detail orientated candidate capable of managing IT compliance, while maintaining a high standard of ethics/integrity. Ideally, wed like you to have a relevant bachelors degree, and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role. It is essential that you have a good understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), and you will ideally have IT audit experience within the hospitality industry. Previous experience conducting audits and responding to observations.
Understanding of change management framework.
Ability to work under pressure, flexible and can manage multiple tasks.
Ability to command authority while remaining respectful in order to ensure adherence to standards, policies and procedures.
Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information, Professionalism, Problem Solving and Verbal Communication.
Knowledge and practical experience of hospitality applications, solutions and integrations (Opera PMS, Simphony, SpaSoft, Galaxy, HotSOS, etc). Hands on knowledge of Microsoft products and platforms Office 365, Microsoft Windows server and desktop technology's, Active Directory, SCCM, SolarWinds, etc..)
Understanding of IT security concepts and principles.
Qualifications/Certifications
Certification in ITIL v4 would be an added benefit.
Microsoft Certification or equivariant.
College/University educated preferable.
