About the ClientOur client, a bank in UAE is seeking an Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Assurance to join their team.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the rollout of the Bank-wide Compliance Regulatory Monitoring Program, including conducting reviews and preparing reports for Senior Management.Execute spot checks on regulations and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Assist in the preparation and formalization of memos and reports for regulatory compliance reviews, testing, and monitoring exercises.Track non-compliance issues and follow up to ensure timely closure by relevant stakeholders within agreed timelines.Provide proactive support to other members of the Regulatory Compliance & Assurance team.
Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in a relevant area of study.Minimum of 3 years' experience in Compliance or Internal Audit within a banking environment.In-depth understanding of local regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.Proven ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams.
