ob Title: Assistant Manager - Information Technology Assurance (Sharia Audit)
Job Purpose
For our prestigious client we are looking for an Assistant Manager - Information Technology Assurance who can Plan and execute IT assurance engagements to ensure Sharia compliance across systems, platforms, and digital channels, following the bank's Sharia Audit methodology and under the direction of senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess & Evaluate IT Controls: Review IT systems for Sharia compliance, focusing on digital banking, core banking, and other platforms.
- Risk Assessments: Perform IT risk assessments, specifically targeting Sharia-related risks.
- Audit Execution & Reporting: Conduct audits, prepare audit reports, and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Compliance & Follow-up: Ensure audits comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years in IT assurance within banking, with expertise in Sharia-compliant platforms (e.g., Flexcube, T24).
- Certifications: CA/CPA/CIA/CISA or similar certifications preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT assurance methodologies (COBIT, ISO 27001), IT controls, and auditing digital banking platforms for Sharia compliance.
