We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Food & Safety to join the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Assistant Manager - Food & Safety will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of all food products produced and served by the company. This includes overseeing the implementation of food safety policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as conducting regular safety and quality inspections of the facility.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement food safety and quality policies, procedures, and regulations.
Monitor and inspect food production and service areas to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and educate staff on food safety and quality principles.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to food safety and quality.
Monitor and evaluate food safety and quality data.
Prepare reports and documents related to food safety and quality.
Maintain records of food safety and quality standards.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety and quality management.
Proven track record of developing and implementing food safety and quality systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of HACCP and other food safety and quality standards.
