Job Summary:

As an Assistant Manager in the Commercials & Operations department, your role is critical in overseeing the commercial aspects of the business, managing operations, and driving strategic initiatives. Your expertise in finance, procurement, and business management will be pivotal in developing commercial strategies, optimizing costs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting due diligence, and ensuring successful project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Strategy Development:

Collaborate with senior management to formulate effective commercial strategies aligned with business goals.
Analyze market trends, pricing structures, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
2. Due Diligence and Business Evaluation:

Conduct thorough due diligence of existing business processes and financial data to identify areas for improvement.
Evaluate financial performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend strategies for optimization.
3. Cost Saving Proposals:

Identify cost-saving opportunities across different operational areas and present actionable proposals.
Implement measures to reduce operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
4. Project Closure and Government Relations:

Lead the process of closing projects with government authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to address any issues that arise during project closure.
5. Procurement Finalization:

Oversee the procurement process, from vendor selection to contract finalization.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and contractual terms.
6. Project Feasibility Evaluation:

Assess the feasibility of new projects and initiatives, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
Provide data-driven recommendations on project viability and potential ROI.
7. Liaison with Abu Dhabi Authorities:

Maintain positive relationships with Abu Dhabi authorities, ensuring adherence to local regulations and compliance requirements.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the organization and government entities.
8. Financial Expertise and Analysis:

Utilize your master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance to analyze financial data, create forecasts, and make informed strategic decisions.
Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis processes.
Eligibility Criteria:

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Management or a relevant discipline.
Proven experience in procurement and commercial operations, preferably in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
Proficiency in project management, due diligence, and cost optimization.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills for effective vendor and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with local regulations, government procedures, and compliance standards in Abu Dhabi.
Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret market trends and competitive dynamics.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications.
