Job Overview
As Assistant Manager - Accounts and Finance, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and support internal and external audits. Your role will also involve financial analysis and collaboration with other departments to ensure operational alignment and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Oversee general accounting functions: AP, AR, payroll, and GL maintenance
• Ensure monthly and year-end close processes are completed accurately and on time
• Monitor compliance with IFRS, GAAP, tax laws, and internal policies
• Support external audit coordination and timely submission of audit deliverables
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
• Track and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and optimizing fund utilization
• Perform profitability analysis and develop cost-saving strategies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations
• Mentor junior team members and support internal knowledge-sharing
• Support ERP system enhancements and financial automation initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the retail or consumer sector
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong command of financial reporting tools and MS Excel
• Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements
