POSITION
Assistant to Laundry Manager | Abu Dhabi Palace - UAE
LOCATION
Private Royal Estate - Abu Dhabi, UAE
(Work visa and relocation arranged if not local)
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Assistant to Laundry Manager is responsible for supporting the management of daily laundry operations and maintaining flawless service standards. This role ensures quality processes, efficient workflow, and professional presentation of all household linen, uniforms, and personal garments within the palace environment.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial or luxury laundry operations
• High-level understanding of fabric types, stain treatment, and professional garment care
• Experience in staff training and supporting operational leadership
• Strong organization, workflow coordination, and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication skills and professional service presentation
• Familiarity with commercial washing equipment and fabric-safe processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Experience in a 5-star hotel laundry, private household, or royal service environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols
• Strong quality control mindset
• Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure
• Experience working within multicultural teams
• Able to assist with stock tracking, ordering, and consumables management

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily laundry operations
• Maintain quality controls across all laundry processes
• Assist with training staff on laundry procedures and safety protocol
• Conduct monthly inventory and stock control of laundry supplies
• Report maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Ensure all employees, uniforms, and personal appearance meet professional standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry environments
• Inspect tools, machinery, and garments for wear, defects, or damage
• Support ordering of linen and supplies aligned with palace events and scheduling
• Oversee linen issuance via requisition procedure
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Act as second-in-command when Laundry Manager is off duty
• Perform other duties as delegated by management

SALARY
AED 9,500 - 10,000 per month
(Tax-free salary in UAE)
