JOB PURPOSE - WHAT WILL YOU DO:
CAFU are looking for an Assistant Brand & PR Manager to join our growing Customer Experience function. As an Assistant Brand & PR Manager, you will act as custodian for the CAFU brand and its representation across all external marketing activities. You will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to support the development maintenance of core brand guidelines, communications and events calendars and budgets. You will also act as business lead for corporate communications and PR, facing off to external partners and the media for brand-impacting issues and initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Brand
  • Ensure that all brand asset creation and activities are executed at a high quality & consistency in a manner that is aligned to CAFU brand guidelines, tone of voice (TOV) and brand image .
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in translating the Brand Strategy into operational Brand Plans across various channels and plan content corresponding to the activity plan.
  • Maintain the relationship with external agencies relations, management, planning, execution, and finances.
  • Execute brand marketing initiatives to achieve brand marketing objectives and effectively convey the CAFU brand image across all channels & markets
  • Ensure Brand engagement is consistently improved and properly measured/monitored.
  • Support in the development of organic social strategy to optimize traffic across all platforms
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager on the development and usage of internal and external company collateral (presentations, templates, email signatures), and ensuring that such collateral is used appropriately
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in ensuring that brand standards are adhered to in all markets and across all products through internal and external stakeholder management
PR
  • Support in the development of PR Tool Kits ensuring the accuracy of all information (product messaging, availability, roll out dates, pricing, etc.) in collaboration with our PR agencies/partners.
  • Execute and coordinate all press releases, media alerts, seasonal inspiration guides and fact sheets
  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in ensuring CAFU brand identity is properly communicated across all PR channels and assist in the end-to-end development of key PR tools (with a focus on elevated storytelling & look & feel)
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to solicit feedback for improvement
  • Support in partner meetings and organize communication plans around projects or campaigns.
  • Support in development of briefing documents, including coordination and logistics, collecting of information to develop messaging.
  • Work with the PR agency to ensure that CAFU is present/represented at key industry and market events through the use of key spokespeople
  • Manage the list of spokespeople for CAFU, ensuring they are properly briefed for events and interviews and appropriately Media trained
  • Ensure quality is maintained in all PR activities (copy, information, brand relevance, target audience, and consistency) 3
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant subject
  • 3-5 year’s experience in Branding & PR
  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the UAE media landscape
  • Strong agency management, reputation management & media relations experience
  • Previous exposure to high-growth tech start-up organizations
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills
  • A creative eye and strong understanding of the basics of brand building
  • Fluent in English & Arabic – written and spoken
