Position Overview
ADNOC Group is seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to support the implementation of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) across assigned assets. The role ensures corrosion control, condition monitoring, integrity assessment, and static equipment reliability through structured inspection programs, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programs within approved budgets to safeguard static equipment integrity.
  • Ensure all technical work related to corrosion, quality control, and integrity assessment complies with company standards and industry codes.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair plans for static equipment and pipelines in line with best practices, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
  • Work closely with operations departments to ensure equipment availability, operability, and reliability.
  • Prepare integrity reports outlining inspection findings, corrosion issues, and recommended mitigation measures; ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Supervise chemical treatment programs for internal corrosion control and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date integrity information in data management systems, including inspection findings and major equipment issues.
  • Supervise intelligent tool inspections of pipelines and facilities, analyze recorded data, and develop inspection and repair plans.
  • Provide technical support on corrosion prevention, metallurgy, quality control, and inspection requirements to ensure equipment remains fit for service.
  • Conduct investigations into metallurgical failures, deterioration, and integrity issues for static equipment and pipelines.
  • Drive annual asset integrity plans and keep management updated on progress and risks.
  • Review integrity reports and ensure all remedial actions are captured in AIMS systems.
  • Communicate integrity threats, trends, and risk analyses to concerned teams and management.
  • Participate in technical reviews and pre-startup safety assessments to ensure facilities comply with AIMS requirements before operation.
  • Facilitate verification audits and failure investigations, recommend corrective measures, and track follow-up actions.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in asset integrity assurance, corrosion engineering, or metallurgy within oil and gas or major industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of corrosion control methods, condition monitoring techniques, and integrity assessment practices.
  • Skilled in failure investigation, inspection planning, chemicals application for corrosion management, and static equipment reliability programs.
  • Knowledge of industry codes, AIMS methodologies, and inspection tools for pipelines and facilities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting abilities.
