What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards
• Teach diverse art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, and mixed media
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages self-expression and creativity
• Integrate art history and contemporary art into lessons to broaden students' artistic perspectives
• Assess and track student progress through portfolios, presentations, and exhibitions
• Prepare student artwork for school displays, competitions, and community projects
• Maintain and organize classroom materials and art supplies efficiently and within budget
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and contribute to school-wide events
• Engage in professional development, department meetings, and parent-teacher conferences
• Promote positive behavior, cultural awareness, and a love for learning in all students

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field; teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) preferred
• Proven experience teaching art at school level, preferably in an international or IB curriculum setting
• Strong practical skills across multiple artistic mediums
• Ability to integrate technology into art instruction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for inspiring creativity and artistic growth in students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
