As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art instruction to students at secondary level, inspiring creativity and critical thinking. You will play an integral role in nurturing a passion for the visual arts, while promoting an inclusive, innovative learning environment that supports every student's development.
Key Responsibilities

• Teach Art at GCSE and A Level as per the British curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that meet diverse student needs
• Develop students' technical skills and creative expression across various media
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly
• Organize student exhibitions and contribute to the school's visual identity
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school leaders to support cross-curricular learning
• Encourage a respectful, supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters artistic exploration
• Contribute to school-wide events, enrichment activities, and community initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts or a related field with PGCE/PGDE or BEd qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Art at the secondary level, including A Level
• Strong portfolio of student work and effective art teaching strategies
• Proven ability to plan engaging lessons and utilize a range of artistic techniques
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for art education and student-centered learning
