Job Overview
As a Science Teacher at GEMS Metropole, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging science lessons to students across relevant grade levels. You will contribute to an inspiring academic environment while promoting inquiry, scientific thinking, and a love for discovery among learners.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured and interactive Science lessons aligned with the British curriculum (GCSE/IGCSE/AS-levels)
• Differentiate instruction to cater to a range of student learning needs and abilities
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and inquiry-driven classroom culture
• Assess student progress regularly using a variety of assessment tools
• Provide timely feedback and maintain academic records and reports
• Collaborate with subject leaders and colleagues on planning and innovation
• Integrate ICT tools and experiments to enrich learning experiences
• Participate actively in school initiatives, extracurricular programs, and community events
• Uphold all school policies including child safeguarding, health & safety, and academic standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or a relevant subject, with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching certification
• Proven teaching experience in a British or international school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Familiarity with modern pedagogical practices and digital teaching tools
• Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to student success
• Fluent English language proficiency
