Area Manager for North Africa
An exciting and independent job as Area Manager for North Africa, where you will be part of our energetic team. You will be given responsibility and be able to develop yourself from day one.
Expanding our position in the region
The position involves very exciting work in a company that insists on developing, producing, and marketing the best cleaning machines on the market.
As Area Manager you will be responsible for sales and development of our markets in your region. Your responsibility will be to maintain and increase sales to existing dealers and expand markets with new dealers.
Your primary responsibilities will be the following:
  • Bringing our broad portfolio of products and brands to the markets in the best possible way
  • Care and maintain relationships with dealers
  • Develop and execute powerful business plans with dealers
  • Define a clear strategy for the area and execute it - including, seeking out new dealers if it is necessary to increase sales
  • achieve the required sales target
  • Use our CRM tool Salesforce.com to manage your customer relationship and pipeline
As part of the job, you will get ample opportunity to be where your customers are, so you should expect to travel +45 days a year.

To be successful in the position it is an absolute must that you are independent and work well independently. You previously achieved excellent sales results because you are both focused and result-oriented. Furthermore, you are motivated by having new challenges and thrive in a changing every day, where you can bring your good social skills in play and of course you excel in building new relationships.
It also implies that you’re experienced as a strong communicator who is both committed and has a high energy level. With your strong commercial mindset, you're used to negotiate why you possess excellent negotiating skills and know how to create an impact.
There may be multiple backgrounds for the job, but we think that the right candidate has a relevant academic education at graduate level with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position. In addition, you have:
  • Experience with distributor/dealer management
  • Previous experience in business development and start-up of sales in new markets
  • A well-developed curiosity for the products and how they are marketed and sold to greatest effect
  • It is a requirement that you are a good communicator in English and French both verbally and in writing. Additionally, it is an advantage but not a requirement if you have knowledge of Arabic and other languages.
Location?
You will be part of a dynamic Middle East an Africa team and reporting to the Regional Director based in Dubai. Your base can be in Dubai, North Africa, or France.
