Job Description
An Assistant Resident Civil Substation Engineer's job is to assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing the construction of civil and utility works within a substation project, ensuring it meets specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This includes supervising contractors, coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing technical documents, and maintaining detailed records.
Required Skills and Experience:
Civil Engineering Degree:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is typically required.Experience:
Experience in supervising construction, particularly in substation or related infrastructure projects.Knowledge of Standards:
Familiarity with relevant construction standards, specifications, and safety regulations.Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reviewing technical documents, conducting inspections, and maintaining project records.Stakeholder Management:
Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders and managing their expectations.Safety Awareness:
