Job Summary:

We are seeking a

skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technical Engineer

with solid experience in the construction field to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and coordinating architectural drawings and technical details -- ensuring design intent is accurately translated into construction and supporting site execution teams with precise and timely technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent to prepare coordinated shop drawings and details. Prepare and issue technical submittals, including material submissions, method statements, and mock-up documentation. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and clash-free drawings. Provide technical support to site teams, ensuring architectural works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Participate in site inspections and respond to RFIs and technical queries related to architectural works. Review IFC drawings and highlight discrepancies, conflicts, or constructability issues. Ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards. Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and suppliers as required. Support procurement teams in evaluating technical compliance of materials and products. Contribute to design development and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

architecture

or

architectural engineering

. Minimum

7 years of experience

in architectural engineering within the construction industry, preferably on medium-to-large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of

construction methods, detailing, and local building codes

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

; familiarity with

Revit

and

BIM

workflows

is a plus. Ability to read and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

high-rise, hospitality, or mixed-use developments

.

Knowledge of

Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)

or equivalent regional standards.

Familiarity with

ISO and QA/QC documentation

practices.
