Job Description

:

Our company is looking for an experienced Technical Engineer in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of construction projects for villas, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and coordinating with project teams to ensure smooth execution. The candidate should also be proficient in handling Dubai Municipality (DM) approvals, as-built drawings, and online inspection portals.

Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Provide technical support to project managers and site teams to ensure construction activities align with project requirements.

- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.

- Assist in solving technical challenges that arise during construction.

- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and technical documentation.

- Support procurement teams by identifying technical requirements for materials and equipment.

- Manage building permit approvals from Dubai Municipality (DM) and handle all necessary submissions for approvals.

- Prepare and submit as-built drawings during the handover phase of the project.

- Utilize DM portal, DDA portal, and Trakhees portal for online inspections, approvals, and compliance-related tasks.

- Liaise with government authorities to ensure all necessary permits and inspections are completed on time.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Engineer in the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering software.

- Experience with DM, DDA, and Trakhees portals for permit approvals and inspections.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience working in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.

- UAE Driving License is a plus.
