Job Description
Job Title: Architectural & Structural Draftsman
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years - UAE (Dubai) Engineering ConsultancyRoles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
architectural and structural drawings
for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in compliance withDubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees and other local authority standards
. Developconcept, schematic, detailed and construction drawings
based on design inputs from architects and structural engineers. Prepare and updateshop drawings, IFC drawings and as-built drawings
as per project requirements. Coordinate witharchitects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and project managers
to ensure accuracy and alignment of drawings. Review and incorporateclient and authority comments
into revised drawings promptly. Prepare drawings forauthority submissions
and ensure compliance with Dubai code requirements. Assist inBIM coordination
and clash detection where required. Manage and maintain drawing registers and document control in accordance with company standards. Conductsite coordination and verification
as required to ensure drawings match site conditions. Support the engineering team in preparingquantity take-offs, schedules and material specifications
from drawings. Ensure all drawings are produced withinproject timelines and quality standards
.Required Skills
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD (mandatory)
and good knowledge ofRevit
. Solid understanding ofUAE building codes, standards and approval processes
. Ability to independently handle drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
