Job Description
3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Architectural Draughtsman with Engineering or Contracting firm. \xc2\xb7 Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites. \xc2\xb7 Creating technical drawings from architects\' sketches and specifications. \xc2\xb7 Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details. \xc2\xb7 Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers. \xc2\xb7 Entering CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings. \xc2\xb7 Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques. \xc2\xb7 Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed. \xc2\xb7 Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations. \xc2\xb7 Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
