Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled architect/interior designer and Drafter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for interior design (suitable for parametric and computational design) and scale model projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of CAD software and contribute to innovative design solutions within a collaborative environment. The ideal applicant will have a strong foundation in drafting, with experience in construction-related projects, and possess excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, 3D s Max, Rhino, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and other relevant softwarses. Prepare schematics and technical documentation aligned with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate drawings. Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements. Revise and update drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope. Assist in creating visualisations for construction planning and presentation purposes. Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and schematics for easy access and version control.

Experience

Proven experience as a Drafter and projects coordinator within thearchitectural and interior design sectors. Proficiency in CAD softwares SketchUp, NavisWorks, and 3Ds max and Rhino is essential. Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and construction documentation. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Architecture and Civil Engineering Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. A recognised qualification in drafting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by relevant experience.
