Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architectural Draftsman with strong skills in scale model building and interior design documentation. The ideal candidate will translate architectural concepts into precise technical drawings, 3D models, and high-quality physical scale models. This role supports architects, interior designers, and project teams by producing accurate drawings, visualizations, and physical representations used for presentations, client approvals, and project development.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting & Technical Documentation

Produce detailed architectural and interior design drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Prepare technical documentation for concept, schematic, and detailed design phases. Maintain drawing accuracy, compliance with standards, and adherence to project requirements. Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, designers, and engineers.

Scale Model Making

Fabricate high-quality physical scale models using materials such as foam board, acrylic, wood, and 3D-printed components. Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into precise scaled components. Use model-making tools, cutters, laser-cutting machines, and fabrication techniques to achieve accurate finishes. Coordinate with design teams to ensure models reflect the latest project updates.

3D Visualization & Digital Modeling

Develop 3D digital models for architectural and interior design concepts. Prepare visual presentations, exploded diagrams, and material boards as needed. Collaborate on rendering tasks to communicate design intent clearly.

Interior Design Support

Create interior layouts, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, and material specifications. Assist in selecting finishes, materials, and color palettes based on design briefs. Prepare detailed joinery and custom furniture drawings.

Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or similar drafting/3D modeling software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus. Strong craftsmanship and hands-on model-making ability. Knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and interior design practices.

High attention to detail and strong sense of precision. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Creative problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting Technology, or related field. Prior experience in architectural drafting and model-making is preferred. Portfolio showcasing drawings, models, and/or interior design work required
