Job Description

The Architect Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing architectural projects from conception to completion. This role involves managing a team of architects, coordinating with clients and consultants, ensuring projects adhere to design specifications and budgets, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The Architect Manager plays a crucial role in delivering innovative and functional architectural solutions.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee all phases of architectural projects, from initial design to construction administration. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of architects and design professionals. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Conduct regular team meetings and provide progress updates.

Design and Planning:

Develop and review architectural designs and plans. Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and client requirements. Present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders. Utilize CAD/BIM software to create and modify architectural drawings.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Understand and translate client needs into architectural solutions. Provide regular project updates and address client concerns. Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Quality Control:

Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures. Review and approve architectural drawings and specifications. Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality. Address and resolve any design or construction issues.

Technical Expertise:

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and architectural technologies. Provide technical guidance and support to the architectural team. Ensure projects comply with all applicable regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. Professional architectural license (if required by local regulations). Proven experience in architectural project management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong understanding of building codes and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification. Experience with various building types and construction methods.
