Role Overview

The Architect Intern will support the design and execution teams in developing interior layouts, design concepts, and technical drawings for ongoing fit-out projects. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates in Architecture or Interior Design seeking hands-on project experience in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior architects and designers in preparing design proposals and presentations. Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visuals using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project engineers for material selections and approvals. Support the preparation of joinery and detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out execution. Research materials, finishes, and design trends suitable for the UAE market. Participate in site visits and project coordination meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and spatial understanding. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Trakhees guidelines (advantageous).
