This role is responsible to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers. This role is part of an integrated local sales team focused on delivering value to customers and achieving sales and margin growth expectations. Ensures superior value is delivered to customers in support of primary demand efforts. Responsible for promoting and selling Distribution's full range of products, including engineered wood, commodities, and specialty building products.
Accountabilities:
Establishes, cultivates, and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with assigned customers.
Coordinates customer strategies in support of delivering superior value to customers and growing wallet-share and profitability.
Uses market knowledge, relationships, and growing experience to seek out opportunities with new and existing customers for Distribution's full range of products.
Gathers market intelligence and translates it into valuable input to drive decisions around product mix, pricing, inventory levels and demand outlook. Uses that input to help drive decision-making.
Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers, including promotions, specials, market pull through activities, and updates to products/pricing/service.
