Job Description

The Arabian Coffee and Tea Maker is responsible for preparing and serving traditional Arabian coffee (Gahwa) and tea to guests at our desert safari camp. The role involves not only the preparation of beverages but also the presentation, following the authentic customs and traditions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Arabian hospitality, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Beverages:

Skillfully prepare traditional Arabian coffee (Gahwa) and various types of tea, ensuring that the taste and aroma meet high standards.

Serving:

Serve coffee and tea to guests in a traditional manner, respecting the cultural customs and ensuring an authentic experience.

Presentation:

Arrange and present coffee and tea in a visually appealing manner, using traditional Arabian serving tools and methods.

Guest Interaction:

Engage with guests, providing information about the history and significance of Arabian coffee and tea. Answer any questions they may have and ensure they feel welcome.

Inventory Management:

Manage the inventory of coffee, tea, spices, and other related supplies. Ensure that all necessary ingredients are stocked and stored properly.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee and tea preparation area, including utensils, equipment, and serving items.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the kitchen and other camp staff to coordinate service during events or special occasions.

Training and Education:

Provide training to other staff members on the preparation and serving of Arabian coffee and tea, if required.

Cultural Ambassador:

Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting the heritage and customs of Arabian coffee and tea to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

- Experience in preparing and serving traditional Arabian coffee (Gahwa) and tea.

- Strong understanding of Arabian hospitality traditions and cultural practices.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

- Attention to detail and a passion for providing high-quality service.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Previous experience in a hospitality or similar environment is preferred.

Working Conditions:

- Must be willing to work in a desert environment with varying temperatures.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- May require standing for extended periods and carrying serving trays or other items.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
