Approval Officer (mbbs)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Approval Officer (MBBS) with strong experience in In-Patient (IP) medical approvals within the health insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating medical necessity, approving treatments, and ensuring compliance with policy terms and clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process IP pre-authorization and approval requests
Coordinate with hospitals, network providers, and internal teams for case clarification
Ensure approvals align with insurance policy terms and medical protocols
Provide timely decisions to support patient care and operational efficiency
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: MBBS (Mandatory)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in health insurance
Core Expertise: Hands-on experience in IP approvals / pre-authorization
