Pre-Approval Officer

to join our founding team

Primary Responsibilities:

Submit all eligible pre-approvals to insurance companies/TPAs Follow up internally for additional information required by insurers Interact with physicians to obtain clinical justifications for pre-approvals Collaborate with the team on complex cases to expedite approvals Ensure PAR submissions comply with insurance industry and DHA regulations Comply with and maintain records of pre-approval KPIs Educate billing/approval teams to enhance process flow Meet turnaround time targets while maintaining quality and productivity Coordinate with the CDI team to educate staff on proper claims documentation Maintain accurate monthly data of claims submissions by insurer Coordinate with business stakeholders to improve submission efficiency Analyze financial data related to the revenue cycle to identify defaulting payors and support corrective strategies

Ideal Candidate:

Medical background is preferred Knowledge of

medical coding

(certification is a plus) Familiarity with

medical billing

and insurance protocols Proficient in

Microsoft Word and Excel

Detail-oriented, proactive, and team-focused
