Backend Software Manager(Java)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Manager with expertise in Java and system maintenance to manage software updates, change requests, and operational support. The ideal candidate will lead Java-based backend development, coordinate with various teams and vendors, and ensure seamless software deployment and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage system updates, change requests, and operational support in coordination with client, Internal Teams, remote teams, and vendors related to software Lead and coordinate

Java-based backend development and change requests.

Manage ongoing support, patches, and troubleshooting for existing applications. Assist in

testing and deployment of software updates and enhancements.

Perform technical root cause analysis for system issues and failures. Attend customer meetings with the PM to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and relay feedback to development teams.

Technical Qualifications:

Java - Strong understanding of

backend development and system maintenance.

SQL

- Writing and running queries, debugging, and correcting report data. Database Management - Experience with

Oracle, Weblogic, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Spring Boot

- Knowledge of Java-based backend frameworks.

API Development

- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

Version Control

- Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab). Software

Deployment

- Experience with

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Cloud Platforms

- Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP. System Monitoring & Security - Understanding of Linux/Windows server administration and security compliance.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT project coordination, Java backend system management, or managed services. Experience in leading software development teams and coordinating software updates. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Prior experience in transportation, fleet management, or backend system maintenance is a plus.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
