Position: Application Specialist, Confectionery - Taste and Beyond Location: Dubai, UAE Reporting into: Industry Specialist, Confectionery, IMA Key Responsibilities:

• Create concept samples for Confectionery Clients following manufacturing standards and country client specific legislative and other requirements
• Select flavors and technologies as per client requirements defined in commercial briefs
• Support the Industry Specialists with trials at client sites in different geographical locations within the IMA (India, Middle East, Africa, and Turkey) region
• Use, maintain and grow the Confectionery Recipe Database while keeping a record journal of all laboratory and application work
• Support the Commercial and Business Development teams with applications required for Presentations, Road Shows, Innovation Days and any other client interactions.
• Manage various administrative internal systems and tasks related to the execution of projects briefs, and respect good laboratory practices following established HSE rules

We value:

• Bachelor?s Degree in food science or related subject. Experience in the food or flavor industry is essential
• Knowledge in flavors and food ingredients for confectionery is essential
• Technical knowledge in confectionery applications in the bench is required.
• Confectionery experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential
• Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects in a methodical manner in a fast-paced environment and with short deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, open-minded, willing to learn and to share knowledge, and a strong team player
