Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end visibility of application health, performance, and user experience across critical banking services
• Implement, configure, and manage modern APM tools to provide real-time monitoring, transaction tracing, and deep diagnostics
• Enable proactive performance engineering, incident prevention, and rapid root cause analysis for application-related issues
• Partner with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to embed performance monitoring and telemetry into delivery pipelines
• Define and track performance KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs aligned with business outcomes
• Lead analysis of performance trends, bottlenecks, and capacity risks, recommending remediation actions
• Support incident response by providing timely diagnostics, insights, and post-incident analysis
• Drive continuous improvement of observability practices, dashboards, and alerting strategies
• Ensure monitoring solutions comply with security, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to governance, standards, and best practices for application monitoring and performance management

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in application performance monitoring, observability, or production support within enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of APM concepts including distributed tracing, metrics, logs, and real-user monitoring
• Experience working with DevOps and agile delivery teams to integrate monitoring into CI CD pipelines
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex application performance issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in banking or financial services environments preferred
