Position Overview

The Apparel & Uniform Designer will be responsible for creating professional, innovative, and production-ready apparel designs that meet brand standards and client requirements. This role requires strong creative skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work from concept through final production files. You will collaborate with our product development, sourcing, and marketing teams to produce unique, functional, and visually appealing uniforms and apparel collections.

Key Responsibilities

Design apparel and uniform collections from concept to completion, including sketches, mood boards, and technical design packages. Develop high-quality, functional designs that align with brand identity, client needs, and industry standards. Create detailed tech packs with specifications, measurements, construction details, and material requirements. Maintain knowledge of current design trends, textile technologies, and uniform industry standards. Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate sampling, fitting, and final garment quality. Revise designs based on client and internal feedback while maintaining overall design integrity. Manage multiple design projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines. Ensure all designs are compliant with safety, performance, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or related field . 2+ years of experience in apparel design; uniform design experience is a strong advantage. Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of apparel or uniform design work. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools; 3D design experience is a plus. Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and production processes. Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into clear, innovative design solutions. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
