Position Overview
Apparel Group Dubai is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and deliver exceptional retail spaces across the company's diverse brand portfolio. The role involves managing design concepts from site inspection to project completion, preparing BOQs, coordinating with project and MEP teams, and ensuring that all store designs align with brand guidelines and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys prior to design initiation to assess space conditions and constraints.
• Develop complete design packages for retail outlets, ensuring alignment with brand identity and operational needs.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, design drawings, and material specifications in coordination with project and MEP teams.
• Generate creative concepts and graphic presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with management and brand representatives to finalize design objectives, requirements, and budgets.
• Produce feasibility reports, detailed design proposals, and presentations for management review.
• Ensure design solutions are practical, cost-effective, and in compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) and project management tools to execute projects efficiently.
• Oversee tender preparation, contractor selection, and procurement in line with approved design plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design standards, and resolve construction issues.
• Manage design timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed within approved parameters.
• Evaluate environmental impact and sustainability considerations in every project.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in retail or commercial interior design, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction detailing.
• Ability to interpret and create brand-specific retail environments.
• Excellent communication, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and coordination with MEP teams.
