About the Team
As down-to-earth strategic partners for GBS and Tiktok Monetization Product, the team drives business growth by identifying strategic directions and initiatives through data-driven analytics and deep insights on both internal operations and external market landscape; ensuring resources are properly deployed, managed, and utilized; promoting cross-functional and cross-regional business synergy.
Responsibilities:
Decipher business problems using quantitative methods and tools, and distill the complex results into data-driven business insights and strategic recommendations to enable business decisions
Engage and collaborate within the team, business leaders, cross-functional teams and company executives to inform monetization efforts and drive analytical initiatives
Define key performance metrics and set KPIs to drive business growth
Develop and manage scalable analytics solutions such as tables, datasets, models and dashboards to monitor business performance and monetization efforts
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Maths, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, Finance); or related professional experience is applicable
3+ years of experience in a data analytics role with strong exposure or interest in strategy
Working proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or equivalent) and experience with large datasets. Other programming languages such as R or Python is a plus
Effective communication and organizational skills, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to structure complex issues to drive insights
Fast learner, willing to understand the root cause of problems; highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and creative thinking
Experience in working for tech companies, especially in digital advertising, is desirable but not essential
