Job Description

The purpose of this role is to bridge the formulation of DICO’s strategy with its execution. The individual will be required to work closely with senior stakeholders across the group (and potentially external parties) to ensure –
  • performance management to drive delivery of the organisations objectives
  • Establish (and adhere to) departmental processes and systems for KPI and Business Planning
  • Build and own financial models based on financial statements for group companies and / or external
  • Achievement of key strategic initiatives as determined by the Chairman
  • Enterprise risk management to safeguard or ensure the organisation is prepared for future events
  • Delivery of tangible financial benefits which form part of DAMAC’s transformation programme
  • Support business units in identification & delivery of transformation initiatives, aligning with corporate direction
  • Develop, own and maintain financial models that align & adapt with business plan changes, ensure auto updated financial analysis that tracks impact at a decision level
  • Own, develop & maintain appropriate unit scorecards which align to overall corporate scorecard
  • Work with unit leads in generating retrospective review & forecasted impact on balance scorecards
  • Ensure governance and controls with decisions and actions across initiatives
  • Ensure monthly development, analysis and review of monthly performance against committed targets in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure integrity of data is in place with transformation, performance and risk being recorded in our central database with an auditable trail in place
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information shared at all times
Experience and Technical Knowledge:
  • Management professional with international experience in enterprice risk management, transformation, performance and project management
  • At least 5 years functional experience including but not limited to consulting, strategy, financial roles, with a reference to previous or current Big4 experience
  • Data Visualization tools and MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting & PowerPoint, and ability to own, develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Tableau
  • Practiced in structured performance improvement (Sigma/Lean/Agile) or MIS teams
  • Expert in data mining, SQL language and advanced excel is a benefit
Qualifications:
  • Recently qualified finance professional (ACCA, ICAEW)
  • Proven track record and extensive experience in building financial models
