Job Purpose
The Corporate Account Manager will develop and execute a targeted aftermarket strategy for 12 assigned Corporate Accounts primarily operating in AME. The incumbent will develop aftermarket account plans, leveraging all customer-centric data insights, direct customer interactions and dealer governance with the end goal to generate sound business relationships.
Duties will include, but limited to:
The incumbent will drive governance meetings and implement key accounts plan with key dealers to deliver consistent approach and customer experiences for these accounts.
Ensures that her/his accounts have been fully exposed to Caterpillar aftermarket solutions and dealer organization to influence purchasing decisions.
Communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
Interact with the customer directly to understand their aftermarket needs and how current and potential future solutions could help them achieve their goals.
Establish high-level relationship with decision makers by maintaining regular touchpoints and demonstrate progress on agreed aftermarket projects.
Leverage Caterpillar Senior Management to develop strategies that address major challenges impacting customer loyalty and need for aftermarket solutions such as sustainability.
The role requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions. (up to 50%).
Background/Experience:
Must have a completed degree in Marketing or Business Management/ Similar.
Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar industry.
Thorough knowledge of company aftermarket services, and intellectual curiosity towards broader company solutions.
Broad company knowledge and strong understanding of dealer operations.
Strong Account Management skills leading to regular updates of account plans.
Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department and to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Ability to navigate and influence in a large matrix organization.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Experience working with large international accounts and large customers is preferable.
