Build and strengthen relations with alumni, students, employers, donors and volunteers with the goal of raising the visibility of and engagement with the university and the KU Alumni Association.
Develop and implement alumni relations programs and events to drive alumni engagement and build a thriving alumni network, in line with the vision and mission of Khalifa University.
Maintain complete up-to-date database of all alumni by continuous follow up through surveys and phone call campaigns
Plan and implement the strategy for the Alumni Association, including goal setting, initiatives and increased participation.
Manage the Alumni platform by inviting alumni to register, posting jobs, post engaging contents, newsletters, KU Times, conduct surveys.. etc.
Work with the Manager to execute annual strategic planning goals.
Coordinate and produce reports, proposals, and analyses for management when required.
Manage programming and events benefiting students and alumni (both locally and regionally);
Oversee a student-alumni mentoring program, including supporting and planning career-preparation events.
Develop and deploy marketing strategies to promote the mentoring programs including partnering with other campus departments that more directly serve students.
Research ways to establish new alumni networks/alliances;
Identify specific outreach and awareness initiatives to target different alumni segments.
Provide and manage merchandising material, paraphernalia and other gift items for alumni events and programs along with assisting the University with their overall merchandising needs on campus to build a sense of institutional loyalty.
Organize events, including alumni activities on or off campus and the annual alumni relations reunion.
Provide support to the Alumni Association with the aim of engaging alumni and expanding the alumni community globally.
Manage and implement marketing messages through various communication channels including working with media to run content;
Oversee content and communication material to keep alumni informed and updated about the
University and its activities, milestones and events.
Address complex issues with relevant entitles/groups;
Represent the University at events and meetings on and off campus;
Oversee and manage programs to involve alumni in campus events, career mentorship opportunities for students, and student recruitment campaigns in collaboration with other offices at KU.
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with alumni network for mentoring, internship and job placement facilitation of Khalifa University students
Adhere to the University\'s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor\'s Degree in Higher Education Administration, Counseling or related field.
Required Experience
Expats:
A minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience.
UAE Nationals:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
