Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO As a member of the Middle East Career Services & Alumni team, the Alumni Specialist will support the development and growth of our expanding BCG Middle East Alumni Program. This role will create, coordinate, and implement a variety of alumni program initiatives, including, but not limited to, alumni communications, local office enablement, data management and optimization, and alumni event organization. You will also contribute to the active sourcing of executive job opportunities, by building and maintaining relationships with Alumni/ hiring managers at target employers. YOU'RE GOOD AT . Managing communication with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Managing Director and Partner, Principal, Partner, Head Hunter, Alumni...) . Maintaining communication with BCGers and Alumni pursuing new job opportunities . Preparing and publishing job leads toward target population on the BCG Global Job Board . Maintaining high levels of data integrity by keeping internal... databases up-to-date (Dynamics, Job Lead database) . Managing the exit process (conduct exit interviews), prepare farewell emails, facilitate alumni activation and transition to the community via Microsoft Dynamics . Participating as active member of BCG Career Service Regional Network (including sharing of policies/processes/best practices) . Supervising and actively participating in Alumni events management (i.e. logistics, invitations, tracking of participations, relationship with vendors) . Identify, create and manage communications with Alumni (i.e. newsletters content, personal calls, invitation letters) . Handling all activities regarding the ME Alumni Publications (newsletters, social media etc., from content design through to delivery, and ensure proper coordination at ME level . Support all office initiatives where Alumni are involved, where necessary . Participating as active member of BCG Global Alumni Network (including sharing of policies/processes/best practices) Including periodic calls, World Wide Alumni Day etc. . Supporting in the preparation of annual planning for Alumni, managing all necessary activities for its implementation . Supporting budget definition and monitoring . Providing analyses and metrics related to Placement & Alumni topics and puts results into slides as required . You have a passion for relationship management and business and a strong comfortability with technology. You are quick to learn and master new systems and tools. . You have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and is action oriented. These skills are especially relevant when being asked to own and execute on alumni events . You have the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate well with others as you will act as a go-to resource and provide support to local alumni teams across the region. Positive energy and a customer service mentality is critical. . You are highly motivated, enjoy being challenged, and can independently manage and support new initiatives to further engage BCG Alumni . You have strong communication skills that will enable you to draft, edit and help disseminate internal and external communications to Middle East Alumni, senior leadership, and regional alumni teams . You are intellectually curious and eager to learn YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) . 3-5 years of previous HR experience, preferably in a similar role with experience In ME market & practices . Ability to work effectively in a team environment in person and virtually as required . Advanced level experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook . Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint and Verint Surveys Is Ideal . Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English, Arabic is a plus . Energy, curiosity, positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills . Professional, proactive and organized approach . Self-motivated with ability to prioritize workload . Ability to act autonomously and respond to situations appropriately, ability to tolerate ambiguity . Ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential material and information appropriately . Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment . Ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple cultures YOU'LL WORK WITH You will work in a team of 5 individuals which includes the Career Services Manager and a team of 3 specialists / senior specialists. You will be reporting directly to the Career Services Manager. You will regularly interact with in internal team members and the wider HR team. You will communicate with BCG ME Alumni external stakeholders including head-hunters, external HR/Talent Acquisitions teams from client and non-client organizations
