The Aluminum Technician is responsible for fabrication, assembly, and installation of aluminum systems including windows, doors, facades, curtain walls, shopfronts, pergolas, and related aluminum structures. The role ensures high-quality workmanship in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Assembly
Fabricate aluminium frames, panels, and components as per shop drawings.
Cut, drill, assemble, and fix aluminium profiles using hand and power tools.
Install hardware, accessories, gaskets, and sealants accurately.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of aluminium works.
Installation & Site Work
Install aluminium systems such as:
Windows & doors
Curtain wall & facade systems
Shopfronts & partitions
Pergolas, louvers, canopies, and skylights
Handle and fix glass panels safely where required.
Perform adjustments and rectification works during and after installation.
Quality Control
Read and understand shop drawings and installation details.
Ensure work complies with approved materials, samples, and specifications.
Identify and report defects or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Carry out snag rectification as instructed.
Safety & Compliance
Follow HSE rules and site safety procedures.
Use PPE and safety equipment at all times.
Maintain clean and safe working areas.
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
Assist in site measurements and material verification.
Support maintenance and repair works when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certificate in Aluminium Fabrication or relevant field (preferred).
Minimum
2-5 years experience
in aluminium fabrication and installation.
Experience in UAE/GCC projects is an advantage.
Ability to read basic drawings and take measurements.
