: Aluminum Facade Designer

Position Title: Aluminum Facade Designer

Location: Dubai

Department: Design / Engineering

Reports to: Design Manager / Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Aluminum Facade Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, detailing, and drafting of aluminum and glass facade systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications, architectural intent, and relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed facade design drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.

Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to develop practical facade solutions.

Perform structural calculations related to aluminum systems, brackets, and connections.

Select appropriate facade materials and systems based on project requirements.

Conduct site visits to assess facade conditions and support installation teams.

Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and safety norms.

Coordinate with suppliers for technical submittals and approvals.

Manage revisions and maintain drawing documentation accurately.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aluminum facade design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

Strong knowledge of facade systems, curtain wall, cladding, and glazing.

Familiarity with international and local facade standards and building codes.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:

Experience in 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp) is an advantage.

Background in large-scale commercial and residential projects
