Job Description

An aluminum designer typically works on architectural and structural projects by creating detailed shop drawings for systems like curtain walls, facades, and doors using software like AutoCAD.

Responsibilities:

Shop drawings and technical documentation:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for aluminum systems, such as curtain walls, cladding, doors, and windows.

Design and material proposal:

Propose suitable aluminum systems and designs based on client requirements, project specifications, and architectural intent.

Material estimation:

Calculate material quantity requirements for projects.

Compliance:

Ensure designs comply with all project and performance requirements, as well as relevant standards.

Collaboration:

Work with architects, clients, and internal teams to review projects, present designs, and ensure design integrity.

3D modeling:

Develop 3D models and BIM models of aluminum systems.

Required skills and qualifications:

Software proficiency:

Expertise in software like AutoCAD and other 3D modeling and design software is crucial.

Technical knowledge:

Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass systems, fabrication, and construction materials.

Educational background:

A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field is often required.

Experience:

Previous experience in metal fabrication, facade design, or a similar role is necessary.

Project management:

Some roles may require project management skills, especially for more senior positions.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experiences in UAE. Male candidates. Proven experience in Aluminum department.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
